Calm Trip Tea

Our signature blend, Calm Trip Tea, helps relieve most common issues associated with going on a trip. Symptoms such as nausea/vomiting, anticipation anxiety, bad taste, feeling exhausted during and after can take away from the positive experience and distract from the benefits gained.

Our blend is a supportive mixture of synergistic mushrooms, amino acids, teas, and adaptogens designed to be your best trip companion. Each ingredient is specifically selected for its synergistic and supportive effect.

Making tea is much easier on your stomach than eating raw, and using our Calm Trip Tea with our stomach soothing blend, supports that notion and also eases the nerves for both new and experienced travelers alike.

Brew Recipe:

Setting an intention is important before taking a trip, brewing tea creates a ritual that gives space and focus to set yourself up for an enriching experience.

  2. Heat water to 180° F (~1.5 minutes off-boil)
  3. Add Tea bag(s) to the first mug
  4. Cover fully with 180° F water fully for 15 minutes
  5. Remove tea bag(s), squeezing water out of bag(s) into first cup (cover with saucer to keep warm!)

Trip Companions/Ingredients:

  • Lion’s Mane (Hercium erinaceus) (1000mg) = Adaptogenic, antioxidant, has been shown to both repair existing, and grow new neural pathways. LM has a major synergistic benefit as it too opens new and uses lesser used pathways, and connects areas of the brain that don’t normally communicate. Together these new pathways become quickly reinforced, allowing for permanent growth and change.
  • L-theanine (250mg) = An amino acid that occurs naturally in green tea, that calms the nerves and eases anxiety.
  • Ginger root = Helps soothe upset stomachs, and can reduce nausea
  • Cordyceps (Cordyceps militaris) (500mg) = Oxygenates your blood helping with the “body load” effect
  • Orange peel = Orange is a wonderful flavor to match with the earthy taste making the tea delicious
  • Hibiscus = Antioxidant, may lower blood pressure
  • Safflower = Helps detoxify your body, anti-inflammatory
  • Licorice root = Gastro soother, and sweetener
  • Citric Acid = Flavor, also enhances the extraction process
  • (inactive) Organic Myceliated Oats = You gotta grow your Lion’s Mane somewhere

*Does not contain any other mushrooms.
